Startup developed by AMgrade won the first Emirati Startup Challenge
Recently, AMgrade has been actively expanding the geography of its customers. Quite a lot of interest in web outsourcing services and mobile development is shown by customers from the UAE.
Over the past year, our company has concluded several large contracts for the development of web and mobile applications for clients from the UAE. Today we want to share the success of one of them.
In early April, with the support of Zayed University, the first Emirati Startup Challenge was held. This initiative was also supported by the E11 Global and STEP Group.
For the Emirati Startup Challenge, 18 startups were selected. The jury consisted of UAE’s Minister of the Artificial Intelligence. After successful presentations of ideas and pitches, winners were chosen. First place went to the project Mabany.
Mabany Owner, who recently quit his job to pursue his ideas, won the first prize in the startup challenge for developing Mabany, an integrated online system that eases communication between tenants and facility management companies.
Mabany is a cloud-based management software that connects facility managers with tenants through friendly user experience. Through Mabany’s mobile application, a tenant can submit a request to the facility management company stating their preferred time and even attach photos.
The company receives the tenant request on their dashboard and assigns the job to one of their technicians.
Below you can see a feedback about how we worked on a Mabany project.
It is worth mentioning that when you develop Startup, the planning stage is very important. At this stage, AMgrade team is in constant communication with the customer, identifying the main goals and the idea of the project. Careful planning of the first stages of a startup allows you to save the budget and profitably present the project at a target event or during negotiations with investors.
